This project highlights all initiatives related to reading in school.
Book Week took place from 17 to 21 February, just before the holiday, with its wonderful discoveries, activities (book talks and workshops, the “Drop Everything and Read” fifteen minutes daily break, etc.) and its richly illustrated exhibition of work done to promote reading from P1 to S7!
The reading aloud competition was a great success, with 50 contestants in the P4-S2 category! There were 8 finalists: Sara C. (S2 ITa), Lara D. (S1 ITa), Sylvia D.(P5 NLa), Ascanio F. (P4 ITa), Lia R. (S1 ITa), Cristina S. M. K (S2 ITa), Timea S. (P4 FRa) and Eleana S.(P4 DEa).
We would like to congratulate Sara C. who won the final, with a beautiful interpretation of an excerpt from Book I of Harry Potter, Harry and the Philosopher’s Stone. Congratulations to everyone!
The class of P2 ROa , which is experimenting with the “outdoor school” concept this year, took part in an “outdoor library” activity, with their class teachers, Ms Iulia Dragomir, and Ms Cécile Fumire, librarian and nature guide.
