Missions

School psychologists aim at helping pupils who are failing at school, who have learning problems or who suffer from emotional and / or relationship difficulties, especially when these have an impact on their psycho-pedagogical development.

As members of the Care Team of the school, psychologists work in close collaboration with the families and the members of the educational community by advising teaching strategies, by analysing the difficulties encountered by the pupils, by suggesting active listening and by directing families to the most appropriate assistance, both within the school and outside its walls.

Psychologists do not offer psychotherapy, nor psychological assessments within the school, but can advise external addresses and therapists.
