Eurosport is an inter-European School event that has been organised since 1976. Over the years, its shape has changed and evolved to its current format, a competition open to all European Schools and Accredited European Schools, with a maximum of 32 participating schools. It takes place every two years and each one is organised by a different school.

The organising school chooses 5 sports from the list established in the Eurosport Handbook (link hereafter). Each school selects a team of 20 pupils – girls and boys -, and 4 accompanying teachers. In each school, the Physical Education teachers prepare the pupils during the months and weeks leading up to the competition which takes place over four days and ends with a prize ceremony.

While physical effort and fair play are at the heart of the event, athletes also have the opportunity to take part in a few cultural activities in the host city and in one or two social events, to relax and meet pupils from other schools, creating and fostering friendships with their peers.
