At EEB4, S6 pupils can join the “mini-enterprises” project. It is an extracurricular activity that pupils can sign in for at the beginning of the school year, on a voluntary basis.
How does it work? Each week the young entrepreneurs gather to attend a traineeship provided by a coach working for the asbl Les Jeunes Entreprises (LEJ) and coordinated by Mr Emmanuel Kouakou, teacher at EEB4. Afterwards, pupils team up depending on the kind of product they wish to develop. Each team conceives, elaborate and build his product from A to Z. They can ask external coaches (teachers, parents, etc.), who are experts in the business field or in the area connected to their product, for advice and guidance.
At the end of the school year, those that have reached the final step of the process receive a certificate that usually is well appreciated by universities.
Please note that the association organises traineeships, sales of products developed by the “mini-enterprises” and General Assemblies, where pupils are invited, quite regularly.
We are also open to welcoming new coaches wishing to provide advice and guidance. Any teacher or parent, regardless of their background, wishing to help our pupils, is welcome to join the team.
