The purpose of the multiannual plan is to provide a framework for the development of the various nursery and primary cycle action plans and secondary cycle action plans to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive whole school approach.

The report of the Whole School Inspection, which took place from March 11-15, 2019 at the European School of Brussels IV (Laeken), identified four priorities: cooperative learning, differentiating, varied teaching and learning methodologies, and pupil self-evaluation.
